Get to know me
As an aspiring PR professional with a B.A. from the College of Charleston, I’ve gained hands-on experience through five internships across a diverse range of fields, including public relations, social media, events, and design. These opportunities have sharpened my ability to navigate media landscapes, build strategic stakeholder relationships, drive community engagement, and craft compelling brand narratives that resonate with target audiences and enhance brand positioning.
I am now eager to continue growing my career in public relations, seeking an opportunity at an agency where I can contribute to dynamic communication strategies and further develop my skills in a collaborative environment.
My Philosophy
Storytelling is at the heart of how I approach public relations. Growing up in the digital age, I was naturally drawn to the intersection of media, culture, and communication, seeing firsthand how they shape the way we connect and engage with the world. Today, visual storytelling is the "book" that connects brands with audiences in ways that resonate. For me, PR is not just about pushing products or simply delivering messages; it's about crafting stories and visuals that resonate with people, build authentic relationships, and drive real impact.

PR should do more than inform; it should spark meaningful connections that resonate deeply. I combine critical thinking and strategic campaigns with creativity to develop narratives that align with audiences' values and interests, ensuring a deeper impact. My goal is to foster long-term relationships that drive measurable results—going beyond visibility to create genuine, lasting engagement and trust with the brand.
My Professional Journey
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to build a diverse set of skills across public relations, social media strategy, and event planning, each role enhancing my ability to connect brands with their audiences in meaningful ways.

At Aply, I sharpened my strategic PR abilities, working on media outreach and influencer campaigns that amplified brand visibility and established strong media relationships. This experience gave me valuable insight into how effective PR can drive brand positioning and resonate with key audiences.

Building on that foundation, my role as a Social Media + Community Engagement intern at Free Agency allowed me to dive into the fast-paced world of tech and startups. I was responsible for curating content and managing social media campaigns across multiple platforms. By crafting posts and engaging with the community, I helped grow the digital presence, foster meaningful interactions, and build a dedicated online following. This role taught me how to strategically use social media to create authentic connections and drive engagement, ultimately supporting the company’s mission and values.

In addition to my social media responsibilities, I also contributed to the weekly in-person event production. I worked closely with the team to coordinate logistics, ensuring smooth execution of events that aligned with Free Agency’s goals. This hands-on experience in live event production complemented my digital efforts, giving me a holistic understanding of how in-person and online experiences can work together to amplify brand presence and create lasting connections.
Similarly, my work with Making Strides of Charleston as Social Media Manager allowed me to blend my passion for digital storytelling with social impact. Through managing their social media channels, I helped raise awareness for their annual walk for breast cancer survivors in the local Charleston community, creating meaningful connections and amplifying the organization’s message in ways that encouraged real-world engagement.

Another key experience in my college career was serving as the Public Relations/Social Chair for Zeta Tau Alpha, where I led the PR and event planning efforts for an organization of over 300 members. In this role, I was responsible for overseeing content creation, managing social media campaigns, and organizing large-scale events. Balancing creativity with logistics was crucial, ensuring each initiative not only aligned with the sorority’s values and mission but also fostered engagement and strengthened the sense of community. Through this experience, I honed my leadership, communication, and organizational skills, while managing cross-functional teams and driving initiatives that enhanced both internal relations and the sorority’s outreach to the larger community.
Currently, at The Feminine Template, I focus on event coordination and community building, working to create female-forward spaces where women professionals can connect, collaborate, and grow their careers. In this role, I have developed a deep understanding of both virtual and in-person event execution, ensuring every experience is thoughtfully designed to engage and inspire attendees. From coordinating logistics to curating meaningful event plans, I take pride in delivering events that not only meet but exceed expectations. Additionally, I am dedicated to fostering a thriving, inclusive community where women are empowered to share their expertise, expand their networks, and support one another’s professional journeys. This role has further honed my organizational, communication, and leadership skills while deepening my passion for creating environments that inspire growth and meaningful connection.

With a solid foundation in public relations, social media strategy, and event planning, I’m excited to bring my skills to the next step in my career. I’m currently seeking entry-level positions where I can continue to grow, contribute to innovative projects, and make a meaningful impact. I am open to opportunities that allow me to leverage my diverse background and passion for storytelling, building authentic relationships, and driving results. If you’re looking for someone with a fresh perspective and a strong work ethic, I’d love to connect.
